We recently went to the Bahamas for five days with our good friends. We went snorkling and parasailing and did lots of shopping.
My friend and I planned a day to the Barcadi Rum factory. Our taxi driver told us that if there were not at least ten people there for the tour they would not do one. But we wanted to go anyway. So after a forty minute drive there on the wrong side of the road, they drive on the left there because they were British at one time, we got there just as the gate was opening. Our taxi driver said he had to wait for us because there were no taxis there to bring us back. He went in to check on the tour and he was told it would be an hour or more. Sooooo we opted for pictures at the rum bar and headed back to town to the Straw Market and all the great shopping there.

you're in the bahamas and you guys wanted to go to a factory? and then you drove all that way to get a picture at the bar? you two are hilarious. i wonder what the taxi driver was thinking? he probably gets a kick out of tourists.
